"Hackney Self Tape Collective is a professional self taping studio and artist collective based in Hackney, East London.

We (Laurie and Flynny, founders) set up the Collective because we knew there was a gap in the market for reliable, professional, affordable and collaborative self tapes in London. We are both professional working actors and always strive to make your session as easy and fulfilling as possible, making sure you have a great actor reading in with you, the scenes are shot and lit beautifully and then edited and sent off on the same day. Established in February 2025, we've had over 150 different actors of all ages, ethnicities and working backgrounds through our doors, many booking subsequent sessions, and we've had some fantastic feedback. We're super proud of what we're doing at HSTC and really grateful to our new clients for putting their trust in us.
