Payment and Session Rates…

Please follow the relevant link below to pay for your session.  You will be diverted to our Stripe payment page, where you can easily and securely pay via ApplePay, Google Wallet etc. You will also receive an email receipt.

Pop your sides and any key details about your character/the project/creative team in an email to

The team will have a look over all the information before your session so we can make the most of our time together!  We will never share or forward on your material.  If your project is NDA protected or you don’t feel comfortable forwarding on, we totally understand.  Just make sure you bring a hard copy with you for us to read with!

 

Getting here…

Our studio is located at the following address:

Mainyard Studios is located between Hackney Picturehouse and Baxter’s Court Wetherspoons, directly opposite Hackney Town Hall. Look for the big pink door! 

 

Hackney Central, London Fields (both Overground) and Bethnal Green (Underground) are our closest stations.  We also have secure bike storage inside the building if you are cycling to us. 

Please note: Lime Bikes cannot be parked directly outside our building.

 

When you arrive…

• Please arrive no earlier than five minutes before your session.

• We are not connected to the intercom system so please do not ring ANY of the buzzers at the door.

• Instead, email us (hackneyselftapecollective@gmail.com) or DM us on Instagram (@hackneyselftape.collective) to let us know you have arrived and we will come and meet you at the door.

• Please NEVER tailgate somebody into the building otherwise we get in lots of trouble. Oops!  We will always let you know if we’re running behind schedule.  There is a sheltered bus stop directly outside the main door if it’s raining, and a café in Hackney Picturehouse next door.

 

 

Cancellations and Missed Sessions…

We fully understand the nature of taping, auditions, recalls, and casting often have super quick turnarounds and are prone to last minute changes (we’re all actors here too).  We also know that everyone has busy lives outside of acting and things can pop up unexpectedly out of our control. 

We do however have to operate a 24hr cancellation policy to ensure that last-minute cancellations don’t leave us out of pocket every time.  We will always try and rearrange your session first, or find a suitable solution, but if you have to cancel within 24 hours of your session we will take 50% of your session fee, and refund you the remaining 50%.

 

Relax and have a Good Time!

It can sometimes be daunting meeting new people and taping in front of someone you don’t know, but we are here to help you and get the most out of your session.  We’re really nice, LOVE working with actors and REALLY want you to book the job. So, relax and let’s have fun – acting is playing! 

 

If you are feeling a little nervous when you arrive, let us know.  We can sit down, have a cuppa, a little chat and take things at your speed.  It’s your session to use how you like.
